Claws Mail

NOTE: You need premium membership to be able to use our IMAP/SMTP server.

Install Claws Mail. 
In this tutorial we will show how to install Claws Mail on Ubuntu.



1. Open Ubuntu Software Center and search for Claws Mail




2. Check the optional add-on for installing plugins and then choose Install




3. Go to Configuration and then Create new account




4. Enter the information and then choose ok.
Mail adress: your email-adress (for instance usertest@countermail.com that we are using in this tutorial)
Protocol: IMAP4
Server for receiving: imap1.countermail.com
SMPT server (send): imap1.countermail.com
User id: Your email-adress (for instance usertest@countermail.com that we are using in this tutorial)
Password: Your IMAP-key which you can find by following this guide https://support.countermail.com/kb/faq.php?id=90




5. Now go to Passwords and Keys to import your public- and private key.

6. Go to File and then Import




7. Choose your public key and then choose open.




8. Choose Import




9. Go to File and then Import again




10. Choose your private key and then choose open.



11. Choose Import




12. Now it should look something like this (with your adress and any aliases).



13. Now we need to install the PGP-plugins for Claws Mail to be able to encrypt and decrypt emails.
Go to Configuration and then Plugins




14. Choose Load




15. Select these three, pgpcore, pgponline and pgpmime. You need to select one at the time and repeat the procedure.




16. Now it should look something like this. Then choose close.
