How to use the XMPP chat with Pidgin

This guide will show how to setup the XMPP chat using Pidgin on Ubuntu
In this guide our Login name is: "hanan87@xmpp.counternet.com"

1. Start Pidgin and add an account.
Choose Add
3. Enter your Username and Password.

Local alias is the name that your contact will see (this could for instance be your nickname).
4. Make sure that the port is
either
5222 (TLS encryption) or 5223 (SSL encryption)
5. Now it should look something like this, choose Close and you're ready to start a new Chat!
